Play for Chase Scholarship

The Foundation supports the Chase Morris Scholarship Fund. The Play for Chase scholarship was established following Chase’s death. Chase was a vibrant and athletic, young man with a passion for life who gave to his community, school and friends with such a enthusiasm and loyalty that he greatly touched many lives around him in his short 16 years on earth. The foundation was established to provide scholarship funds to deserving high school students that display character, courage, passion and school and community involvement.

Applications are due March 31st annually and are reviewed for academic performance, character and school and community involvement.

“What’s worth doing in life is worth doing with passion!” - Chase Morris

Chase sought to help others and to give of himself and his abilities.  The scholarships are offered to deserving high school seniors who exemplify similar traits of character, compassion and community as Chase did.
